The entrepreneur is engaged in textile sewing for a known foreign buyer and the range of products includes working protective suits, working trousers and jackets. The grant will be utilised for the procurement of machines for production of protective and work suits, protective and work trousers and shirts in order to increase the capacity and quality of products. This will lead to an immediate creation of four new jobs and another six subsequently. The entrepreneur will be conducting corporate social responsibility activities oriented towards providing support to local businesses and NGOs, hospitals and health centres with donations of various types of uniforms.

The entrepreneur is engaged in production of upholstered furniture (beds, sofas, armchairs) and provision of upholstery services for other manufacturers. The grant will be used to procure machines for cutting and tailoring sponges in order to increase production and productivity and employ two new employees immediately and five subsequently. The entrepreneur will be conducting corporate social responsibility activities which will include furniture donation to the Association of Persons with Disabilities in Priboj.

The food (meat products) processing enterprise will procure machines for mixing and vacuum filling of meat in order to increase productivity and improve the quality and durability of final products. The production currently employs 14 workers while resulting job creation is three immediate posts and additional six within a three-year period. The proposed CSR activity envisages donation of its own products to the local institutions working with vulnerable groups and children including Red Cross, Soup Kitchen, Hospital and the kindergarten "Neven" from Priboj.

The reconstruction of existing and construction of new water supply and hydrant grid should contribute to the improvement of economic infrastructure in the Free Zone Priboj in order to provide adequate conditions for the eight current investors operating in the Zone, as well as for new ones, through provision of stable water supply and fire protection . As a result, investment and economic potentials of Priboj would be increased.

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

The renovation of the school sports hall, including reconstruction of dressing rooms and washrooms, interior and facade joinery, ceilings and floors, and provision of new sports equipment, will enable 434 pupils attending the school and their teachers to have physical education classes in safe, adequate, and functional facility throughout the year.

Improving the level of cooperation and trust between Serbian and Bosniak communities through promotion of interculturalism and protection of intangible cultural heritage in the region. Additionally, inclusive and integrative instruments will be created through dialogue and cross-sectorial cooperation of relevant regional actors and experts at national level, to advance the cooperation between the two communities.

Advancing the preservation of the cultural and traditional values of the Serbian and Bosniak communities in the rural areas of Priboj. By purchasing two machines for fruit processing, traditional local foods production will be revived, creating income generating opportunities for rural households and subsequently contributing to social development, enhanced tourist offer and inter-ethnic understanding.

Support preparation and implementation of local strategies/action plans for employment and social inclusion; Promote active inclusion and improved integration of social and employment services;

Strengthening women entrepreneurship through training in rural tourism, traditional production of food and business skills. Small grants will be issued to five participants to expand or start their own businesses related to rural development.

Developing policies and / or administrative regulations addressing vertical coordination and communication between the LSGs and government institutions

The project is to be implemented in partnership with NALED and the Ministry of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure, and implies yrainings and mentorship support for LSGs and PUCs, recommendations for internal improvements, support for upload of planning documents amd obtaining inputs that can facilitate policy improvements.

The development of the main design for the reconstruction of the entire lighting system in throughout the municipality and improve the overall safety of the citizens. The new, LED based, lighting system will have a low energy consumption and a long lifespan.

The development of the main design for the reconstruction of electro-mechanical sector of Priboj Water Treatment Plant is a condition for preserving the health and safety of people and for the overall economic development of the Municipality.

Replacement of the roof cladding and external woodwork of the Administrative Building will improve the working conditions in the Free Zone, thus contributing to creation of more favourable business environment for the economic growth, and consequent increase in employment and better living standard of the 27,000 inhabitants of Priboj. These activities complement to significant funding of the Government of Serbia in the Industrial Park, which is well equipped with infrastructure and has potential for both brownfield and greenfield investments.

Introducing participatory budgeting (PB) practices and process in the municipalities. Increasing the capacities of the municipalities to conduct PB process.

The Plan provided harmonization of the spatial plans of the Republic of Serbia and those of Priboj. It gave strategic development priorities for organization and landscaping of the municipal territory, revitalization of the existing as well as creation of new contents based on natural resources, created values and long term needs of economic and social development.

Engagement of four employees in the period of three months to update the LTA database with the aim to increase the revenue source for the municipality and reach a sustainable level of budgetary resources

The project is directed towards developing a Strategic marketing plan which aims to highlight the tourism potentials of Zlatar and Zlatibor and surrounding municipalities in Zlatiborski and Moravički District(Priboj, Prijepolje, Sjenica, Uzice, Arilje, Bajina Bašta, Požega, Kosjerić and Ivanjica)

Adaptation works at the Museum and its amphitheatre were completed in August 2012, and the Ministry of Culture set aside the funds in 2013 budget for preparation of the design of the permanent exhibition. This project strengthened the social and economical development of the South West Serbia and Priboj by improving the citizens’ awareness about diversity, content and importance of cultural and historical heritage for the development of society.
