Advancing entrepreneurship together

The European Union for Local Development Programme – EU PRO Plus, has launched a public call for projects of business support organisations (BSOs) that should contribute to the competitiveness and sustainability of micro, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs in the region of Šumadija and Western Serbia and Southern and Eastern Serbia. The organisations should submit the project that will contribute to enterprises entering new markets, introducing standards and increasing the ability of small businesses to recover and be more resilient to the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The European Union has allocated 500,000 Euros for this Call, while regional development agencies, business incubators, science or technology parks, clusters, business associations, chambers of commerce, as well as research institutes and academic organisations from the area covered by the EU PRO programme are eligible to apply.

Within the Call, individual projects of organizations can be supported in the amount of 20,000 to 50,000 Euros, while organisations should focus their projects, among other things, on digitalization of small and medium enterprises, greening their business and introduction of circular economy, standardization and certification for quality standards, marketing and expansion into new markets, access to funding sources as well as increasing the resilience of small business.

During December, four info-sessions were organised in order to provide additional information to potential beneficiaries about the Public Call, while those who missed to attend the info-sessions can do so online on the EU PRO Plus Programme website.

The Call is open for submissions until 2 February 2022, and all of the relevant information including the online info-session and application documentation is available on the designated BSO page on the EU PRO Plus website.
